On Vacation

I'm in Cleveland this week visiting family and friends and this is the first time I'm away from Ralphie. As much as I love going back to my home town, boy do I miss my Ralphie and Ollie. I'm lucky that Erica is staying at my house to care for the pups. She tells me Ralphie seems a little down and out, maybe missing me and Ollie sits by the back door waiting for me. :(. Isn't it amazing how our pets know that something is different and the one who cares for them is not there. It's fascinating the bond we have with our pets...how I miss them and they miss me. Yes, our pets are very, very important to us ... they truly are our family members ... our babies.
